Characterization of Nanopowders by X-ray Diffractions Analysis
XRD is a techniques that is widely used in the Nano technology. Application range from phase identifications qualification and determination of crystallite and particle size, all on Nano scale level XRD have typical advantage over others techniques such as the non destructive nature, averaging of properties, proper statistic and fast measurement. Nano technology or nano particle play a important role in many industries. As the particle become smaller their properties can change in mysterious and useful ways one way to produce nano particles is to reduce the size of bigger particle by grinding.

Robotic Gripping Systems Design Guidelines
This paper describes guidelines for the design of grippers for use in modular manufacturing workcells. Gripper design is an important and often overlooked aspect of the design of a complete assembly system. Here, guidelines are presented which can be applied to a wide variety of grippers. Guidelines are divided into three major categories: those that improve system throughput, those that increase system reliability, and those that decrease cost. Designs of several grippers, currently being used in a modular manufacturing workcell, are presented as examples of the application of the guidelines to real world problems.

Remote Learning for the Manipulation and Control of Robotic Cells

This work proposes an approach to remote learning of robotic cells based on internet and simulation
tools. The proposed approach, which integrates remote-learning and tele-operation into a generic
scheme, is designed to enable students and developers to set-up and manipulate a robotic cell remotely.
Its implementation is based on a dedicated website that supports a full three-dimensional simulation
and a manual online control of the cell. The website provides high flexibility for making changes in
the design of the work area, independent of the user’s location. The website can be used to further
integrate full-scale remote learning labs in collaboration with other organizations.

Electro oxidation of Malachite Green and Modeling Using ANN

This study involves the electro-oxidation of malachite green, a triphenyl methane dye, extensively used in industries and aquaculture, and later banned in most developed countries because of its potential carcinogenicity, mutagenicity and teratogenicity in mammals. The results were compared with experimental observations, and found that the model predictions adequately match experimental observations. Combination of the factors giving complete removal of the dye has also been commented.

Role of DeNOx Catalyst in PCDD/F Emission Reduction in Hazardous Waste Incineration (HWI) Plant

In today`s turbulent environment shaped by globalization and the expansion of capital markets, quantities of waste are increasing rapidly, causing distortion of sustainability. Furthermore, irregular waste disposal becomes a serious threat to the environment and human health. Therefore, such huge amounts of waste need to be disposed safely. Today there are many waste treatment methods. One commonly known is thermal waste treatment. The primary benefit of thermal treatment is the substantial reduction of the mass (up to 75 %) and volume (up to 90 %) of waste. The generation of revenues from energy production, known as waste-to-energy treatment, can also partially offset the cost of treatment.

A Behavioral Modeling in Micro-Simulation For Urban Freight Transportation

Freight Transportation is a major factor contributing to economic growth and development. However, freight transportation issues should be considered carefully in both modeling and policy making because they involve with a significant amount of energy consumption and pollution. As a result, a proper freight transportation-modeling tool is needed for transportation planners in order to assess to the effect of policy decision on freight transportation system. The current direction of demand modeling is to model at the micro level for both freight demand modeling and passenger demand modeling.

Application of Compound Microbial Preparations

Journal of Chemical Biochemistry Engineering: Application of Compound Microbial Preparations in Composting with Lactic Acid Fermentation Residue from Kitchen Waste.
In order to utilize the lactic fermentation residue obtained from kitchen waste, com-posting was carried out with such residue and sawdust. Compound microbial preparations (CMPs) were added into the system to test feasibility to facilitate the composting process. The changes of physicochemical properties and microbiological index were investigated during composting with lactic acid fermentation residue added with sawdust as the conditioner. The results showed that the addition of CMPs resulted in a rapid increase in temperature of the system, and prolonged the maintaining time during high temperature phase.

On the Friction Drag reduction Effect by a Control of Large Scale Turbulent Structures

Journal of Mechanical Engineering: The present DNS reveals that the control of small scale fluctution leads to more drag reduction than that of large scale fluctuations. When the small scale fluctuation is damped, the friction drag is reduced by the amount corresponding to the absence of small scale fluctuation.
Control of Turbulence phenomena is one of the promising techniques for mitigating environmental impact and saving energy. Since the skin friction drag of wall turbulence causes large energy loss in many industrial devices, various control methods have been proposed to reduce it.
